What do I do when I’ve had a long day (a long week, really) and the normal Wednesday night zumba instructor isn’t teaching? Indulge.
I’ve jokingly dubbed this the Summer of George (I blogged awhile back about wanting to make this summer count, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find it…), and one of the first things on the list was making croissants. The sad thing is I can’t even take the credit for cooking, unless you count filling some with ham, cheese and spinach and others with raspberries/blueberries (that makes it healthy, right?) Regardless, it was just what I needed.
I also can’t take credit for the crepes, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it any less! And I’ll keep telling myself that stuffing them with berries makes it good for me…
I figured it was time to take Lindsay’s advice and treat myself. Plus for five days I’ll be home with two dogs who love to go on long walks. Bon appetite!
