Juneathon: Day 18

I had every intention of getting a Saturday morning run, but sleep sounded much better. Most of my day was taken up by a women’s leadership conference. While I wasn’t too thrilled about giving up almost an entire Saturday, it was a fabulous event. It’s given me a lot to think about, both professionally and personally. I’ll probably talk about some of the sessions in future posts, but for now I’ll just say it was just what I needed.

After the conference I was mentally tired and still reeling from the sore thighs. Given my legs would probably appreciate at least a small break, I opted for some mall walking for my exercise, logging at least half a mile. I even scored some great deals out of it, so I can’t complain. I’ll probably regret the lack of miles when I do my week 3 recap, but like the conference, it was what I needed.
