Week 1 recap

I finished my first two days of work and also my first week of Juneathon!

Day 1: 1.3
Day 2: 1.5
Day 3: 1.5
Day 4: 2.3
Day 5: 2.5
Day 6: 1.8
Day 7: 2.5
TOTAL: 13.4 miles 

Not too shabby considering all the traveling and changes going on in my life. My hope is to improve with each week, so I’m aiming for 15 miles over the course of the next 7 days.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that if it weren’t for Juneathon, I wouldn’t have worked out as much as I have. I’d have two, maybe three, days and that’s about it. At times it’s been a struggle and a pain in the rear, but it’s paying off. Call me crazy, but I feel like I have a bit more energy and a pick-me-up mentally just know that I’ve been able to improve my jogging and stick with this. Definitely worth it (although I may not feel the same when my alarm goes off at 5 a.m. again…)
